Lucy Daniel Raby

Lucy is an experienced and versatile children's writer who has written for TV, film, books and theatre. In television she has written for a variety of live action, puppet and animation programmes for companies such as Henson's, Aardman, HiT Entertainment, CBBC and CITV.

She created the live action kids' comedy drama series for 8-12 year olds, BIG KIDS, for CBBC, starring Imogen Stubbs. Lucy's most recent TV script commissions have been for Aardman's SHAUN THE SHEEP, HiT Entertainment's ANGELINA BALLERINA and CHUGGINGTON for Ludorum. She won the 2010 Writers' Guild category Best Children's Television Drama/Comedy as part of the writing team for SHAUN THE SHEEP.

She is also a novelist, published by Hodder Children's Books. Her books include Christmas fantasy fiction novel NICKOLAI OF THE NORTH and its sequel NICKOLAI'S QUEST. She has also written a stage musical adaptation of NICKOLAI OF THE NORTH which was performed at the Marine Theatre in Lyme Regis and is now available for professional licensing. An updated version of the play was performed to a sell-out run at the Archway Theatre in Horley in 2012. Her new books GODDESS IN PYJAMAS and SKYE'S SECRET MISSION are now available on Amazon, Smashwords and ITunes. Film rights are available for both.
