Conor is a writer, podcaster and creative producer from Dublin whose brand is misfits, monsters and
broken hearts. Conor is developing an animated series with Ink and Light Studios and has written
episodes of their pre-school series Stories From Backwoods. Conor’s screenplay Dara McCool
received screenplay development funding from Screen Ireland in 2022 and 2024, and received a
bursary for Stowe Story Labs Retreat and Narrative Lab in Vermont. Conor was a screenwriting
mentee of BAFTA winning writer Will Collins (Wolfwalkers) for a yearlong mentorship and in 2025
was selected for the Series Accelerator – showrunner programme through Screen Ireland and Media
Xchange. In 2024 Conor set up the creative IP development company Gemini Dragon to develop a
slate of original film and TV projects in the genre and family space. He is also an award-winning
podcaster for his hit comedy diet-culture show Fad Camp. Conor’s short film The Wrong God placed
in the top 25 projects in the Straight 8 competition and won “Best Fiction Film” at the Film Only
Festival in Canada. Conor was recently selected in the Top 25 Screenwriters to Watch for 2025 by the International Screenwriters Association.
Conor has directed factual entertainment, documentary and kids TV for RTE & RTE Jnr and is a skilled
camera operator, stills photographer and editor for film and TV and digital productions. His
directorial feature debut mockumentary THE LIGHT OF DAY screened at the Galway Film Fleadh and
the IFI Horrorthon.
